What should a city like Beijing have its eye on for the future?

What should a city like Beijing have its eye on for the future? Looking at what they have to gain in terms of branding opportunities, building an experience and creating a stable future a circuit event is probably the safest route for continued recognition in the sports world.

In terms of ROI to the city or region absolutely. See example of Valencia (Spain) comparing America`s Cup and F1 Grand Prix. Large-scale single events often create over capacities, difficult...

A curcuit is important to be present in the media and public attention throughout the season. But the climax of the curcuit should be the Championships....

They do if they have enough media impact - The Tour de France and Roland-Garros bring more to the country than the 1900 Olympics do on a long term...
