François Carrard joins TSE Consulting’s Academy Forum on good governance!
The Academy is very pleased to announce that sports law specialist François Carrard has joined this year’s “Academy Forum” together with other international experts to discuss best practices in governance of sport organisations. As a long time sport leader specialised in implementing reforms for major actors of the sports world, Carrard will share his extensive knowledge and experience on the subject matter with the participants.
A Doctor in Law, Carrard is a partner at Kellerhals Carrard and advises tons of sports organisations on various subjects. His extensive experience as the former CEO of the International Olympic Committee as well as his current role in heading FIFA’s reforms commission make him a very prestigious and relevant commentator on good governance of sports organisations. Carrard will share his point of view with other international experts representing various stakeholders in the sports world and debate best practices on this hot topic.
Carrard said: “Good governance in sport is not rocket science. It requires good common sense and, above all, top leadership with a cultural approach based on total integrity. Good governance relies on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, transparency, accountability and dedication with a strong will to implement it from the top down to the grass roots of any sport organization. I look forward to share my experiences and views with the Academy participants as well as debating with experts.”
François Carrard is another great addition to the Academy’s prestigious speakers lineup.
