TSE will publish ground-breaking research that will seek
to answer the question of how to engage people living in urban areas in sport. Research has previously shown that as urban areas are
developing the population living in these areas are not actively engaged in a
high level of sport participation. This creates an increase in social and
health issues in such areas.
Through worldwide research TSE's new report will
offer solutions to finding ways to increase sport activity in the city. The study will conclude in the second half of 2012 with a
published report that will be made available to TSE clients and industry
partners.
This new study follows the TSE's 2011 report
"Maximising social impact - lessons learnt from social programmes of past
major sports events".
